Ultraviolet camo made from natural plant dyes could help bird hunters

A camouflage materials created from pure plant dyes can conceal objects in each seen gentle and ultraviolet, which might be helpful for hunters attempting to keep away from being noticed by birds that may see in UV.

To make the fabric, Anowar Hossain at RMIT College in Melbourne, Australia, extracted dyes from a spread of plant species, together with Honduran mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), mango bushes (Mangifera indica) and tea crops (Camellia sinensis), and used them to print a leafy design on cotton cloth.
