A check satellite tv for pc for a future space-to-Earth cell phone community is brighter than 99.8 per cent of stars seen to the bare eye. If a deliberate fleet of 100 extra satellites is as brilliant or brighter, astronomers are involved it might severely affect ground-based astronomy.
