Archaeologists have reconstructed how Babylonian invaders burned down a constructing in Jerusalem greater than 2500 years in the past, utilizing chemical clues within the particles.

The constructing was destroyed as a part of the Babylonian conquest of the Kingdom of Judah, which is introduced as a turning level within the story of Judaism within the Hebrew Bible.
