Aiden Gallagher drives racing car made from electronic waste

A racing automobile constructed from digital waste has been unveiled by British System E racing workforce Envision Racing and pushed by actor and UNEP goodwill ambassador Aiden Gallagher. The automobile, named Recuperate-e, was created by designer Liam Hopkins from donated digital merchandise, together with iPhones, chargers, laptops, batteries and single-use vapes. Annual e-waste manufacturing is on monitor to achieve 75 million tonnes globally by 2030.  The workforce hopes the automobile will increase consciousness about e-waste and digital recycling. “The aim of it’s to open up the dialogue of e-waste in an thrilling means. What might be extra thrilling than constructing a race automobile?”, says Gallagher.
